In the fashion biz, we’re all spoiled with a constant desire for gotta-have-it items to magically appear in front of us. Around January, things take a little post-holiday dip, but now that Punxsutawney Phil has made his annual appearance, it seems things are picking up again. Behold a roundup of new hot tickets items we’re obsessing over this week.
S.RitterNYC Rings at Paxton Gate
Susan Ritter of S.RitterNYC creates her singular line of rings using "lost wax casting," a process she says has been used through all of antiquity including the Bronze Age and the Renaissance. It also means that there are no molds, so each ring is literally one of a kind. Paxton Gate is the first vendor to bring these killer (potentially literally, be careful with these!) rings made from toothy calcite, kyanite and agate to the west coast.

Ace Hotel x Alpha Industries Waterproof Fishtail Parka
The Ace, one of our hippest hotels, teams up with Alpha Industries to create a waterproof fishtail parka for the extended spring weather that's sure to come. Based on the classic US Army M-65 Fishtail parka, the nylon shell is seam-sealed with an adjustable hood and waist for easy layering options in all wet weather conditions. Though it’s marketed as a men’s jacket, we know plenty of girls who could rock this no problem.
