Tracy Mollenholt
Tracy Savage Mollenholt enjoyed a 25-year career in the arts, beginning at Sotheby’s as the Director of Liaison Services for worldwide auction sales. Subsequently she managed the studio of Dale Chihuly during the most formative years in the development of his career as the pre-eminent glass artist working in the world today. A gallery of her own followed in Portland where she was known as a major player dealing in the contemporary art market and represented established as well as mid-career and emerging artists to a worldwide audience. She sold her gallery in 2005.
Real estate provided a natural second career, employing her entrepreneurial skill set which includes sales and marketing, communication and advertising, contract management and business development. With her creative insight and approach to the market she quickly identified and became dedicated to incorporating environmental and social issues as an integral component of her core business strategy.
Tracy has continued her education in real estate with a specific focus on sustainability. She is a LEED certified Green Associate, a graduate of Leadership Training from The Natural Step, an Energy S.T.A.R. certified Green Agent, a member of the Hasson Green Team and an authority on LEED Green Remodeling Practices and LEED New Home Construction.
Tracy is not only an expert in sustainability but is thoroughly committed to a lifestyle of health and sustainability. In other words, she not only talks the talk, she walks the walk. This is particularly important in the area of sustainability. Tracy is currently undertaking a green remodel of her 1970’s log cabin on 20 acres in the Columbia River Gorge with a goal of being “net zero” when the project is completed in 2011.
She is licensed in Oregon and Washington.
