Hi Portland Monthly Peeps,

Just a small correction to the number of pounds of food, water and other aid supplies shipped to Haiti by the Portland Haiti Relief Container Project. We did a little better than 40,000 lbs. We actually sent 2 40 ft. shipping containers that each held 40,000 lbs for a total of 80,000. It all arrived safely in Port au Prince on March 20th. Yea Portland! Thanks to all the people who donated to the Haiti Relief containers either in aid goods or to the shipping fund. This month we partnered with some PDX Firefighters that went on a medical mission to Haiti for a new project called 500 Tents 4 Haiti. If you would like to know more about it, check out http://www.500tents.com

Best,

Jeff Lorton
