Midrange SAT scores represent scores at the 25th and 75th percentile, which means the middle 50 percent of incoming freshmen’s SAT scores fell within the published range. Many schools did not track scores for the writing segment of the test, so in an effort to be consistent, we published SAT scores across critical reading and math only.

Freshman retention rates were obtained from US News & World Report, and represent the number of freshmen entering college between 2003 and 2006 who returned for their sophomore year.
