A romantic comedy with a twist -- zombies who fall in love. Based on a novel of the same name by Isaac Marion, the film is set in the wake of a zombie apocalypse, and follows the zombie characters R, M, and Julie (stand-ins here for Shakespeare's Romeo, Mercuito, and Juliet). After R kills Julie's boyfriend M and eats his brain, he begins to fall in love with Julie. The two wander around the wasteland of their city and start to develop a relationship that has the potential to transform their entire zombified worlds.
