Former McSweeney's managing editor and publisher Eli Horowitz will be interviewed by current McSweeney’s editor and author Paul Collins. 

 

Eli Horowitz worked for McSweeney's for eight years and now publishes and produces cutting-edge material that integrates story and technology at his digital publishing firm, Ying, Horowitz & Quinn. Horowitz has also coauthored two books, Everything You Know is Pong and The Clock Without a Face.  In addition to being a McSweeney's editor and a professor at Portland State University, Paul Collins is the author of seven books.


Hors d'oeuvres will be provided at the event during the mingling time; beer and wine will be available for purchase. Transmit Culture: A Series of Conversations about Publishing is a new lecture series curated by Portland State’s Master’s program in Publishing and by Ooligan Press.
