Cantankerous lumberjack Katsuhiko's quiet, simple life in the forest is interrupted with the arrival of indie film crew filming—what else?—a zombie movie. Katsuhiko reluctantly becomes involved, helping scout locations and stepping in front of the camera. He forms a tender, May-December friendship with the insecure young film director, Koichi, as the two bond over their shared passion: cinema.
The film is a part of the NW Film Center's Japanese Currents film series, showcasing the best of contemporary Japanese cinema.
