In the world of country music, The Carter Family are royalty. Northwest filmmaker, Beth Harrington, is putting the finishing touches on a documentary that looks at their enduring legacy, and musical dynasty that was created when Johnny Cash married into the family. This benefit is to raise funds to secure the rights for musical and archival footage. Naturally, there will be music from The Foghorn Stringband, a Carter Family singalong, clips from the film and presentation from the filmmaker, as well as prizes. Advance tickets are $12 ($6 for kids 12 and under).
