The Hunt is a mind-wrenching film that follows the chain of events that ensue in the life of kindergarten teacher Lucas, after he is accused of molesting one of his students in his small Danish town. The hysteria surrounding the accusations quickly spreads from the parent community to the town at-large, and Lucas's life is obviously affected in permanent and devastating ways.
Mads Mikkelsen, who plays Lucas, won Best Actor at Cannes for his performance, and the film also won the Audience Award at the Vancouver International Film Festival. Also showing 2/21 at Regal Lloyd Center.
