This two-tone ska-pop ensemble had a string of ‘80s UK hits including "Hands Off … She’s Mine" and the ultra-infectious, three-chord ditty "Save It For Later." After the inevitable breakup, guitarist Andy Cox and bassist Dave Steele formed Fine Young Cannibals with charismatic singer Roland Gift while guitarist-singer Dave Wakeling and toaster Ranking Roger regrouped as General Public. Wakeling has returned as bandleader for a tour that should have Rose City rude boys and girls rocking their pork pies.
