The Coleman Family's Omission

Thumbnail for - The Coleman Family's Omission Experience Argentine playwright Claudio Tolcachir’s dark comedy, The Coleman Family's Omission, about an eccentric three-generation family living on the edge in Buenos Aires. The drama is fraught with familial turmoil: grandma isn't well, mother is caught up in her second youth and the young brothers go toe to toe in endless arguements. The play, whose dramatics consciously reflect the nation's post-crash state, first entered the indie theater scene when it opened in the playwright's Argentinian apartment in the mid-2000s, and has since been performed over a 1,000 times both locally and globally. This one-time reading will be followed by an exculsive Q&A with director Julián Mesri and Boom Arts Curator and Producer Ruth Wikler-Luker.
