Eutectic Gallery calls artist Brad Mildrexler a "modern day Vulcan ceramicist." His large-to-massive-scale multimedia (he frequently uses rock, glass, sand, and concrete) ceramic and sculpture work is known for its igneus-like glazes that appear to replicate chunks of rock that have emerged from inner earth. Eutectic Gallery focuses on showing contemporary ceramic arts and crafts; Mildrexler's show opens April 5th as part of the First Friday inner eastside Gallery Crawl.
