This is part two in a two part series (see part one
here) of concerts the PSU Department of Music and Institute for Asian Studies are co-sponsoring, featuring works performed on the Korean gayageum, a traditional zither-like, 12-string instrument dating back over 1000 years; the Japanese koto, also a stringed instrument; and the Chinese guzheng, a more elaborate zither with 18-23 strings and movable bridges, and the ancestor of the gayageum. The evening's musicians will be Dr. Ai-Soon Sung, Mitsuki Dazai, and Ruisi Li.
