Local guitarist Dan Balmer brings together musicans George Mitchell, Andrea Niemiec, and Mel Brown to pay tribute to jazz guitar great, Wes Montgomery. The Indianapolis native developed his signature picking style of using the fleshy part of his thumb to create muted, expressive tones, in an effort not to wake his wife when his practiced while into the night. The quartet will perform some of the Montgomery's most beloved tunes, such as: "West Coast Blues" and "Goin' Out of My Head," among others.
