
David Bazan used to make music under the name Pedro the Lion, winning fans, secular and religious alike, to his Christian-influenced work through skilled songwriting and soul-baring lyrics. Then, he had a crisis of faith (and developed a drinking problem). Since reemerging as plain-old David Bazan, no religious affiliation, the songsmith has released two well-received albums.
