
Photographer Danny Lyon was member of the Chicago Outlaws motorcycle club for four years in the 1960s, which allowed him a unique pespective from which to document the daily lives of the Outlaws using his Nikon, a Rolleflix, and a seven-pound portable tape recorder. In 1968, his work with the Outlaws was published in the landmark book,
The Bikeriders, which launched Lyon's decades-long career as a documentary photographer and filmmaker. This show features more than 30 photographs from his book, beginning Tuesday, Jan. 29. Opening reception on First Thursday, Feb. 7 at 5pm.
