In collaboration with the Pacific Northwest College of Art and the
Acceptable Losses exhibition, the Critical Art Ensemble is throwing a block party to address the issue of inequitable resource distribution. The CAE is a collective of multi-media artists that stress the overlap between politics, art, critical theory, and technology. To provide hope and stress the importance of utilizing available resources, the ensemble will provide a bowl of soup, a 40oz. of Miller High Life and raffle tickets for cash prizes. These elements are metaphors that remind us we have the means to satiate our needs despite the glaring income inequality in the United States.
