What: Author Patrick Dawson of Vintage Beer: A Taster’s Guide to Brews That Improve Over Time stops by Le Pigeon March 26th to talk vintage beer along with Hair of the Dog brewery’s Alan Sprints for an evening celebrating beer and it’s decadent food pairing possibilities.

Whole Grain Suppers with Tabor Bread & Kathryn Yeomans

What: Enjoy a three–course dinner featuring farm fresh and foraged ingredients, focused on delicious, locally sourced, GMO–free whole grains treated with thoughtfulness and attention to detail at Tabor Bread and Kathryn Yeomans’ Whole Grain Supper series. Celebrate locally grown buckwheat and heirloom Red Fife grains milled in–house and baked in a wood fired oven for an evening highlighting one special grain.

2nd Annual Portland Farmhouse and Wild Ale Festival

What: The largest festival dedicated to American interpretations of the Farmhouse style ale with more than 50 different beers from over 25 different breweries.

Peruvian Dance Workshop and Performance at Las Primas

What: Néstor Ruiz and Sonia Porras, both renowned Peruvian dancers, will perform the Marinera, a Peruvian National Dance, at this month’s Peruvian Peña—a monthly gathering at the North Williams restaurant. They will be teaching a workshop prior to the show, and Las Primas' full menu will be available.

Multnomah Whiskey Library "Still Life with a Bottle Series: Great Scot!”

What: Join the Whiskey Library's curator Stuart Ramsay as he explores the 17 portraits of men, women, and insects lining the bar's wall, each having profoundly shaped whisky as we know it today while sipping drams and enjoying bites from the Library's kitchen.

Pondicherry PDX Pop-up At Boke Bowl

What: Chef Kristin Arychuk will be creating a 7 course menu for Pondicherry PDX’s first pop-up event, featuring French-Indian food such as White Korma chicken with French Vadavam curry, Grilled Aubergines, and Spiced Poppadoms. Guests will be guided through meals with explanations on each dish’s heritage and cultural influences.

Biwa Restaurant and MOCC Benefit Japanese Supper Club

Willamette Valley Vineyards AVA Series Tasting & Pairing
