Every summer brings a new sunny sip cherished by local wine lovers, and 2012 is no exception. Last year it was the Riesling Revolution, and this will certainly be the Summer of Rosé.
Want to jump on the bandwagon? Forget what you know about pink wine and head to Rosé in the Rose City, coming to town on Thursday, June 14th.
Hosted by the North Willamette Vintners in conjunction with Portland’s annual Rose Festival, eighteen Oregon wineries large and small will be pouring their best dry and sweet rosés alongside summery whites and sparkling wines at Montgomery Park in Portland’s Industrial Northwest.
Guests will be able to drink pink with Apolloni Vineyards, Cooper Mountain, Elk Cove Vineyards, Montinore Estate, Patton Valley Vineyards, Ponzi Vineyards, and many more, including a special saké tasting from SakéOne.
