Warm your stomach (and your heart) this winter season at Soup for the Soul.

This annual event gathers Portland’s best soup simmerers to show off their ladled creations. Guests will have the chance to meet top chefs and spoon their way through a lineup of diverse soups and desserts. All proceeds from the event will go towards the work of Transition Projects, a local nonprofit dedicated to moving people from homelessness into housing. The event will also feature a hosted bar, silent auction, and live music.

This year’s lineup of soup chefs will feature an all-star cast from kitchens around the city: Sasha Davies and Michael Claypool of Cyril’s at Clay Pigeon Winery, Bonnie and Israel Morales of Kachka, Erik Van Kley of Little Bird Bistro, Michael Campbell of SoupCycle, Jae Larsen of Súpa, and Noé Garnica of Verde Cocina. Other guests will include Pine State Biscuits and Cupcake Jones.

Transition Projects has been working since 1969 to help people off of the streets and into a home, successfully aiding over 600 people a year. With multiple locations around Portland—including include Jean’s Place, Doreen’s Place, the Clark Center, the Barbara Maher Apartments, and Clark Center Annex—Transition Projects’ resources give shelter to over 300 people each night.

Soup for the Soul will take place on February 20th from 6 to 8:30 pm at Urban Studio on 935 NW Davis St. Tickets are $75 per person, and are available exclusively online.
