Five Days Of Aquavit Celebration At Metrovino

What: This week, Metrovino’s lead bartender Jacob Grier will unveil a flight of cocktails that brings out the best in each of five distilleries' unique aquavits. The spirits have been sourced from small distilleries in PDX and across the nation, and North Portland’s Breakside Brewery will be on hand to debut their New Nordic Porter on December 11th. Brewed in collaboration with Grier, the beer is inspired by aquavit: a robust porter with layers of flavor to evoke the flavor of the spirit (think plum, dill flower, fennel pollen, and caraway).

Where: Metrovino at 1139 NW 11th Ave
How Much: Prices vary. A special bar menu, featuring house-cured gravlax and other treats inspired by Scandinavia  will be available to complement the array of cocktails.
