The Hop & Vine Quinquennial Party

What: Blow out the candles with Hop & Vine at the bar and bottleshop’s fifth birthday bash. Guests will dance to live music and DJ sets, earn free raffle tickets, ham it up in the photobooth, enjoy $5 specials on burgers and drinks, and learn the definition of quinquennial.
When: Thursday, September 5 from 3 pm to close.

Tofurkyfest: New Facility Grand Opening

What: Embrace your plant-based side at the grand opening celebration of Tofurky’s new LEED Platinum food processing facility. The three-day event offers an exciting array of activities including rafting and hiking excursions, vegetarian cooking classes, tours of the new facility, a disco and costume ball, and golf, bocce, and disc golf tournaments.
When: Friday, September 6 at 10 am to Sunday, September 8 at 1 pm.

Nicky USA’s Wild About Game 

What: Savor the flavors of regionally-sourced rabbit, quail, elk, water buffalo, emu, and bison at this annual celebration of all things game. The meat-centric festival features cooking demonstrations, cookbooks signings, and an artisan marketplace, and culminates in a Seattle v. Portland celebrity chef cook-off.
When: Sunday, September 8 from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Where: Timberline Lodge, Government Camp, Oregon

Salty’s Panoramic Pinot Noir Celebration

What: Sip luscious pinot noirs from over a dozen local wineries while enjoying a stunning view of the Columbia River. Salty’s 5th Annual Panoramic Pinot celebration will feature wines from Dobbes Family Estate, Oak Knoll Winery, Montinore, Rex Hills, and many more. Attendees will also enjoy pork rillettes, lamb sliders, pinot braised mushrooms, and other savory appetizers.
When: Thursday, September 12 from 6 to 9 pm.

Savor Southern Oregon

What: Explore the flavors of Southern Oregon without leaving town at this artisan food and wine showcase. Offerings include gourmet cheese, artisan chocolates, local food pairings, wine education station, Southern Oregon travel ideas, live music, and, best of all, more than 100 top regional wines. 
When: Saturday, September 14 from 1 to 6 pm.

Pacific Pie FEAST Hangover Brunch

What: Recover from the decadence of FEAST at this restorative Australian-style brunch. Pacific Pie will over a Pop-Up Aussie Hangover Brunch, which includes a delicious “pie floater,” a dose of Berocca (an Aussie hangover drink), unlimited Portland Roasting coffee, a drink at the Bloody Mary bar, and a surprise dessert. Proceeds will be donated to Partners for a Hunger Free Oregon.
When: Saturday, September 22 from 9 am to 12 pm.

Help End Childhood Hunger at Irving Street Kitchen

What: Support efforts to end child hunger by attending this exclusive collaborative dinner. Irving Street Kitchen’s Chef Sarah Schafer will prepare the meal with four respected regional chefs, and guests will be able to view the kitchen via a live feed projected into the dining room. The event will also feature a musical performance by Rita Wilson and a cocktail reception, and proceeds will be donated to Share Our Strength, a non-profit working to end child hunger in America.
When: Monday, September 30 from 6 to 9:30 pm.

Great American Distillers Festival 

What: Taste handcrafted rum, bourbon, whisky, vodka and gin at this celebration of American spirits. The festival also boasts a mixology contest, a lesson in cooking with spirits, live music and dancing, and much more.
When: Friday, October 4 from 5 to 10 pm and Saturday, October 5 from 1 to 10 pm.
Where:  Tiffany Center, 1410 SW Morrison St.

Bees & Seeds Festival

What:  Salute seed savers, pay tribute to bees, and enjoy music, entertainment, and educational activities for all ages at this World Food Day celebration. Don’t miss Holladay Park’s temporary transformation into an urban farm bursting with local, organic, pesticide-free, non-GMO crops, including fresh fruit, veggies, flowers, grains, and beans.
When: Saturday, October 12 from 10 am to 2 pm.
Where:  Holladay Park, NE 11th Ave and Holladay St.
How Much: Free—event attendees are encouraged to bring non-GMO cans and dried food to support a food drive for the Sunshine Division.
