You’ve got to give it up for Portlandia. When they hit the nail on the head, they really pound it hard. This skit (filmed at Stand Up Comedy in the 811 E Burnside building) brings attention to a fact most of us have noticed at one point or another. Why do some stores have so few items? The answer: Blame it on New York.
This is truly amusing, and I also love what seems like a reference to Victorian British thriller Photographing Fairies (the slow-mo bee flying by).
So, where’s the video?
