Good news for all the secret “Dead Heads” out there. Tie Dye is back, and in a big (but more elegant) way. The color swirled trend is climbing the popularity ranks for both ready-to-wear and fast fashion, plus major inclusion on runways for spring runways. Designers like Proenza Schouler,L’Wren Scott, Helmut Lang, Michael Kors, Christian Louboutin and Catherine Malandrino are taking the psychedelic plunge. This trend crashes into the rest of 1960’s/70’s era looks popping up again. This time around the look is more monochromatic or has only one additional color added, for a sleeker look than the Woodstock days with every garish color of the rainbow.
