The posh Nines Ballroom inside downtown’s newly minted the Nines hotel served as the backdrop for Portland Monthly’s fourth annual Light A Fire: A Celebration of Giving. Geared toward recognizing lesser-known community organizations, the event honored local charities and the individuals who serve them in fifteen different categories, such as Best-Kept Secret and Purely for the Love. More than four hundred supporters turned out for the festivities, which benefited the Entrepreneurs Foundation of the Northwest.
