an addition to your staticstics – Community Warehouse donated $1.2 million (thrift store value) of furniture and household items to 50-60 households each week in 2009.
Too much stuff? Community Warehouse needs your donations of “ready to use” essential furniture and household items for individuals and families moving into housing. We need dressers, not barbeques; we need can openers, not garlic presses; we need blankets and bath towels, not dust ruffles. Who benefits from the Warehouse? – About 100 social service agencies in the Portland metro area and SW Washington bring their clients to the Warehouse.
We are open for your donation every day from 10am – 4pm at 3969 NE Martin Luther King Blvd, Portland 97212 503-235-8786. We also offer pick up ($20).
