Nike’s Tiger Woods Center in Beaverton hosted Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon and Southwest Washington’s Swinging Social 2008 on July 20. The two-day golf-a-thon included a hands-on skills clinic by former PGA pro and Oregon native Casey Martin, as well as a shotgun scramble-style tourney at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in North Plains. Close to 300 competitors took to the links and chipped in $167,000 for RMHC programs and services.
