Going Solar at Butters

Lose yourself in the violent fragility of the sun in Elise Wagner’s current exhibit at Butters Gallery, Solar Flare. The paintings’ magma-like texture of massive solar forces was rendered using beeswax and a blowtorch, a method which proved as molten as the sun’s storms themselves.
