Cassandra Stemler wants you to watch your spending very closely.

As part of her senior thesis, the Pacific Northwest College of Art student screen-printed 120 dollar bills with thoughts on time’s value. (“We only have today.”) The bills went into the wild this spring; Stemler hopes spenders log their encounters at moneyspeaks.org. “I hope people will be inspired,” she says, “but keep the cash circulating.”
