Women’s film fest returns

The curtain goes up on the fourth edition of the Portland Women’s Film Festival (POW Fest) this week at Hollywood Theatre. It’s four days of short subjects, animated and experimental films, documentaries, and features, which include Leena Pendharkar’s Raspberry Magic (pictured), a coming-of-age story set in the Pacific Northwest.
