Get your forks ready, folks: Portland Dining Month is back! For the entire month of June, sixty Portland restaurants will be offering three courses – usually a signature app, entree, and dessert – for just $25. The city-wide event has returned after several successful years, giving diners of every taste and budget a chance to try out Portlands’s top restaurants.

My first trip to Portland institution Paleys’ Place went down during Dining Month as a scrappy college student, and it remains one of my favorite dining memories in town. If you’ve been scheming to snag a table at one of Portland’s high-end eateries but have been limited by a less-than-stuffed wallet, mark your calendars – June is just around the corner. You can check out all of the three-course menus from Portland’s heavy hitting chefs at the Dining Month Website, but I’ve selected a few here that look particularly crave worthy:

1st) Coconut and lemongrass soup with house-made tofu, spring vegetables and tamarind or Oxtail croquettes with tomato jam 2nd) Tamarind glazed pork ribs with pickled green papaya or Pan-seared Tai snapper with shrimp, bacon and mustard greens 3rd) Buttermilk panna cotta with mango and passion fruit sorbet or Beer ice cream with pretzel nougatine and coffee gelee

1st) Grilled Oregon asparagus and local bay shrimp with passion fruit dressing 2nd) Roast Oregon Spring Lamb: Anderson Ranch leg of lamb, broccolini, horseradish gratin and rosemary lamb jus 3rd) Strawberry Rhubarb Tart with local strawberries, rhubarb, and crème fraiche

Vegetarian diners will be pleased with the Dining Month options at East India Co., Gilt Club, Karam, Eleni’s, Yakuza, Window’s Skyroom, and Lincoln, and many more participating restaurants will try to accommodate dietary restrictions.
