Well, how about violin versus viola, in Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante for Violin and Viola , demonstrated below by the UBS Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra, and slated for three weekend performances by Portland Baroque Orchestra, featuring Grammy Nominee Monica Huggett. The other piece on the program, Haydn’s Il Distratto, apparently catches Haydn in an erratic, distracted state. No. A moody composer? Say it ain’t so!

Friday and Saturday’s performances at First Baptist Church; Sunday at Reed College. For a more comprehensive list of upcoming events, visit the Arts & Entertainment Calendar anytime!
