SE Ankeny: Chef Abby Fammartino of Abby's Table will open a retail shop and take-out counter by February 2013. Plans are in the works for a salad bar, soups to go, and Fammartino's full line of dairy-, gluten-, and soy-free treats. NE Russell: The Bunk Sandwiches team's tex-mex venture Trigger has expanded the new spot's hours to include lunch and late-night fare. Starting this week, lunch will be served Monday through Friday from 11 am to 3 pm, Happy Hour (drink specials only) kicks off at 3 pm and runs till 6, and the late night menu is available from 10 pm to close. SW College: A new Joe's Burgers location has debuted near the PSU campus, offering the local chain's burgers, hot dogs, fries, and shakes (along with free wi-fi and a late-night walk-up window).
