SE Division: Veg-centric homestyle Italian spot Portobello Vegan Trattoria has extended its popular weekend brunch to include Saturday hours. SE Oak: Clay Pigeon Winery has debuted a new tasting room dubbed Cyril's Wine Bar, offering small bites (think beet arugula salad, sausage apple stew, and delicata tarts), cheese and meat plates, four beers on tap, thirteen wines by the glass or bottle. 815 SE Oak St.

SE Ankeny: Chef Abby Fammartino of Abby's Table will open a retail shop and take-out counter by February 2013. Plans are in the works for a salad bar, soups to go, and Fammartino's full line of dairy-, gluten-, and soy-free treats. To make sure the staff can support the new offerings, the eatery's signature supper club-style dinners will only be available on Thursday evenings. 609 Southeast Ankeny

NE Russell: The Bunk Sandwiches team's tex-mex venture Trigger has expanded the new spot's hours to include lunch and late-night fare. Starting this week, lunch will be served Monday through Friday from 11 am to 3 pm, Happy Hour (drink specials only) kicks off at 3 pm and runs till 6, and the late night menu is available from 10 pm to close. SW College: A new Joe's Burgers location has debuted near the PSU campus, offering the local chain's burgers, hot dogs, fries, and shakes (along with free wi-fi and a late-night walk-up window). The PSU location is Joe's fourth outpost in the Portland area (joining locations in downtown Portland, Bridgeport Village, and Beaverton-Hillsdale). 540 SW College St
