Southeast

The pop-up ramen masters at Boke Bowl are set to open their first brick-and-mortar location at 1028 SE Water Avenue in two weeks. The new space is located in the same building as Bunk Bar and Water Avenue Coffee, and sits across the street from clarklewis.

Certified sustainable seafood eatery Portland Seafood Company opens November 17 in the former Newport Seafood Grill space at Mall 205. The menu has been put together by Portland City Grill chef Brian Poor and features "Dungeness crab buckets", seafood po’ boys and whole fried rockfish (plus free oyster shooters throughout the opening weekend).

Tea house and pastry cafe Tea Chai Te has opened a second location inside the Sellwood red caboose at 7983 SE 13th Avenue.

Southwest

According to Eater PDX, Blue Collar Baking Company is setting up shop on SW 3rd and Pine, in the former art gallery of the Embassy Suites. The shop’s opening is tentatively slated for January 2012.

Northwest

Special diet-friendly diner Dick’s Kitchen has opened a second location in the former Lucy’s Table space at 704 NW 21st Avenue. The menu—featuring grass-fed burgers, baked fries, and gluten-free buns—is the same as the eatery’s SE Belmont location, and will be served from 11 am to 10 pm seven days a week.

Smokehouse 21 opened on Friday, November 11 in the former Tanuki space at 413 NW 21st Avenue. The 22-seat eatery—owned by BJ Smith (former chef at The Original)—is serving up smoked meats like beef brisket, trout, and Texas hot link sausages.

’Burbs
