Pitchfork is reporting that Portland’s adopted rock n’ roll crush object, Britt Daniel, and his crew, Spoon, are releasing a new album early in the new decade. January 26 to be exact. And considering that their last three albums have been near perfect examples of stone-cold-cool pop, we couldn’t be happier.

Looks like it’s going to be called "Transference". Here’s the tracklist:
