Three Days of Local Fashion Fun
Kick off the tenth year of Open Season fashion shows with three days of killer shows from some of our top local designers.
It’s a banner time for the fashion community it Portland. In the first week of May, we’ve ushered in the Notions of Beauty fashion photography exhibit, the opening of Museum of Contemporary Craft’s amazing Fashioning Cascadia exhibit, and gear up to welcome the annual fashion calendar highlight Open Season.
Trust me, you don't want to miss this. Go and buy yourself a 3-day pass to all the runway shows. The tenth annual event, curated by Marjorie Skinner of the Portland Mercury, once again brings us some of the best in the local fashion scene. Eschewing the one big fashion show for casual happy hour style, each night takes over a different bar (read: different crowds, different vibes, different drinks) with short fashion-packed shows.
Normally in a group show we’d list our editor’s picks, but this lineup is too good to miss any night, and at just $15 for an all days pass (purchase in advance), there’s no reason not to.
