Eat Beat Weekly Planner: Easter Feaster Edition
Easter dinners, Easter brunches, and even egg-y Easter cocktails are on the menu this weekend, plus Top Chef Dave Martin serves up his signature Turducken meatballs.
Oyster Social Pop-Up at Upright
What: Toast the end of the Blazers home games with a flight of Upright beers, including their latest Oyster Stout, and freshly shucked oysters with your choice of dipping sauces: Deep Sea Chili, Red Jalapeno, and Ginger/Shallot Mignonette.
When: April 16, 6 – 7:30 pm

Willamette Valley Vineyards AVA Series Tasting & Pairing
What: The five wines in Willamette Valley Vineyards’ 2010 collection will be paired with food made by Chef, Eric Nelson. A discussion will be led by founder, Jim Bernau. Seating is limited to 40 people.

Pix Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza and Tea
What: Pix is giving away a $50 Golden Ticket in one hidden egg in their Easter Egg Hunt. Sit down to Easter Sunday Tea to enjoy 30 types of sweet and savory treats, and a pot of Townshend’s tea. Chocolate bunnies on motorcycles, Pix Surprise Eggs and house-made Tahitian Vanilla Bean Peeps are just some of the samplings you can expect.
When: Sunday, April 20, Easter Egg Hunt starts at 2 pm, Tea Time at 2, 3 and 4 pm.

Easter Brunch at The Benson
What: Families are invited to indulge in a delicious array of food, sparkling wine, entertainment and photos with the Easter bunny.

Second Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Brunch at Besaw’s
What: Besaw’s will be serving Easter Sunday brunch and hosting an Easter egg hunt in the garden where families can expect to find and take pictures with the Besaw’s Bunny, and decorate their own bags.
When: April 20. Easter Egg hunt begins at 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, and 1 pm

Urban Farmer Easter Brunch Buffet
What: Portland’s urban steakhouse will be serving an elaborate brunch buffet in the atrium, complete with different brunch stations: Deviled Egg Station, Omelet Station, Charcuterie and Cheese Station, a Children’s Station and a Dessert Station.
When: April 20 from 9am – 3pm

Din Din’s 3-Day Weekend of Easter Dinner, Brunch, and Cocktails by Merit Badge
What: Celebrate Easter early with a six-course dinner and cocktails provided by Merit Badge, or on the day with an a la carte brunch. Merit Badge has concocted some very egg-y cocktails, including the rumored full-egg cocktail for Sunday’s brunch.

Imperial Easter Brunch with Mimosas
What: Chef Vitaly Paley will be serving some special Easter Brunch specials alongside Imperial’s regular brunch menu, plus three different styles of Mimosas (classic, grapefruit, and lilikoi) designed by bar manager Brandon Wise.

Skamania Lodge Champagne Easter Brunch and Easter Egg Hunt
What: Skamania Lodge will have a lavish buffet of roasted lamb, cedar planked salmon, cider brined pork, eggs benedict and made-to-order omelets, waffles. Plus, the Easter Bunny will be available for photos and hosting an Easter Egg hunt with games and prizes.

Raven & Rose Easter Brunch and Supper
What: In lieu of their regular menu, Raven & Rose will be hosting a special dinner including your choice of wood-fired porchetta from Worden Hill, salt-roasted whole fish or prime rib, all topped by gravy and Yorkshire pudding. Guests will also choose three small plates direct from the farmer’s market. The brunch menu will be available as always.

Top Chef Dave Martin to Guest Chef at Bistro Marquee
What: Dave Martin, Top Chef’s Season One runner-up, will be preparing an exclusive five-course dinner, made from local ingredients, and including his infamous Turducken meatballs plus wine pairings.
