Dinner In the Vines at Sokol Blosser
Portland Monthly and Sokol Blosser Winery team up for an alfresco feast and celebration of the Willamette Valley's chic new tasting room to benefit Children’s Healing Art Project.
On Sunday, August 11 at 5 pm, join Portland Monthly and Sokol Blosser Winery at an alfresco celebration for a great cause.
100% of net proceeds from Rooted, a dinner in the vines with top-shelf beer and wine pairings, will benefit Children’s Healing Art Project, bringing art therapy to youngsters in crisis at area hospitals, community centers, and schools.
Sokol Blosser Winery’s chic new tasting room (designed by legendary Allied Works Architecture designer Brad Cloepfil) will play host to a sunset dinner from Art of Catering with pairings from Sokol Blosser and Trumer Pils. The new 5,000-square-foot space spotlights an Oregon wine country that has been begging for world-class spaces to showcase its world-class wines.
“It’s this crazy labyrinth,” Cloepfil said in our July 2013 issue, comparing the cedar-clad interior spaces to a carved wood box. “It’s the valley’s first piece of contemporary architecture that really responds to where it is—to landscape, earth, and light.”
The $115 ticket includes a seat at the intimate alfresco dinner with beverage pairings and an exclusive tour of Sokol Blosser's newest wine country destination. Head to Eventbrite for tickets and more information.
