Bridge & Burn's Hawaii 503 Party
Bridge and Burn creates a NW themed Hawaiian print with Makelike studio and celebrates the collaboration by throwing a party.
In the perfect combination of summer anticipation and the June-ary weather outside, Bridge and Burn’s new collaboration satisfies both.
The dynamic duo of B&B and pattern design studio Makelike collaborated to create an original Pacific Northwest themed textile pattern that is inspired by traditional Hawaiian prints. At first glance the pattern, entitled HAWAII 503 (you see what they did there?) looks to be a traditional Hawaiian pattern, but upon closer inspection the pattern reveals elements unique to the Pacific Northwest: abundant plant life like Rhododendrons, Dogwood blossoms and Douglas Fir trees, as well as our prevalent lakes, clouds and rain.
The pattern (available in two colorways) has been used by Bridge & Burn on garments for men and women and is available exclusively on their website and their new flagship retail location at 1122 SW Morrison St. in downtown Portland, OR.
Celebrate the launch of the new collaboration on Thursday at the B&B shop with fancy umbrella drinks and Johnny Pineapple on repeat. Sounds like a way to beat the rainy blues.
