Tonight, the popular Mudeye Puppet Company, which features oversize puppets constructed from all recycled and reused materials, drops by Tryon Creek State Park for a kid-friendly (and highly informative) performance during the park’s Summer Solstice Celebration.

Surrounded by the park’s 670-acres worth of trickling creeks, towering firs, and abundant wildlife, the troupe has landed the perfect location to showcase its newest lovable character, Deepsy Diver, an aquatic explorer who’s on a mission to educate kiddos on the importance of keeping our local watershed in tiptop condition.

And since tomorrow is the longest day of the year, Deepsy and the rest of the fun-loving Mudeye crew will no doubt have plenty of time to get the job done.

The show is free of charge and starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Jackson Shelter. A guided nature walk follows the performance.
